Circuit Identification

Primary circuit identification is provided by the directory number. In cases where directory numbers are not available, such as special circuits, the system utilizes the Common Language circuit ID format for circuit identification. The Common Language format is a standard format for identifying special circuits. If this naming convention is in place, the plant record inventory can be interrogated to produce reports based on the characteristics of the circuit(s) ID.
