Wire Centers

The outside plant software system provides for the creation and maintenance of wire centers/exchanges within the network. The user can define wire centers/exchanges by entering a wire center/exchange ID, wire center/exchange name, switch type, loop limit, and address. The user can add, edit, and delete wire centers/exchanges. Optionally, Loop limit data can be entered as an attribute to be associated to the wire center. Switch type identifies the type of switching center that supports the wire center.
